I found this car in the parking lot of Famous Dave's Restaurant.  To be fair we were in Fort Union, but by all means I thought it deserved a place of honor on my WVC blog.  Both dashes were decorated in lovely brown autumnal leaves.  I should have gotten out to see if the seats were covered too...

Sluffers!

Right now I am sitting in the parking lot of a strip mall. It's 8:40 am. There is a gym, a couple of fast food places, a grocery store, a bank, a credit/loan center and a beauty supply shop among other things.

I am waiting a few minutes for the bank to open. I have dropped the last of the kids at school and wanted to make a deposit. This particular srtip mall/shopping center is located close to a highschool.

In the 20 minutes I've been sitting here I've seen about as many "students" wandering through the parking lot. I'm wondering if the highschool has some sort of revolving door. Does it have truant officers? Maybe I should call them and tell them to collect their students from the parking lot...
